New College Stamford’s extensive art departments have been celebrating their year of hard work with an extravagant end of year Art Show.
Students from the College’s 3D Design, Art and Design, Graphic Design, Illustration, Foundation Art, Fashion and Photography courses, have been busy transforming the upper floor of the College’s dedicated Creative Arts building for specially invited industry professionals and family and friends.
The Private View took place on Wednesday where visitors were welcome with a drinks reception before being guided around the 8 rooms of exhibitions on display.
Rachael Cooper, Manager for Creative Arts at the College said, “Every year’s exhibitions are special, but this year students have been exceptional! The quality of work on display is credit to the hard work and dedication they have shown to the variety of art disciplines we teach. Many have secured places at some of England’s top Art Universities such as the Chelsea School of Art and Ravensbourne, and you can see why through the amazing work on display here.”
The exhibition will continue to be open to the public until Friday, so don’t miss your chance to see some our best local art talent.
