Business Apprentice, Cameron Jarvis won an amazing £5000 to start his IT & Gaming Solutions Company at the Start Up! Stamford Final.

Cameron was one of three finalists fighting to win investment into their entrepreneurial business ideas. Each finalist had to present their idea to a Dragons Den style panel and audience.

As well as winning the £5000 towards his business Cameron will also receive free mentoring and support from successful business people that have created successful business in law, HR and marketing.

Cameron said “Winning the competition Start Up! Stamford is going to give me the much needed advice and guidance from expert mentors. The money will help me gain the training and certification I will need for my business to be recognised as an official Microsoft repair company. It will also buy me the specialist tools and advertisement I need for success”.

“Working with NCS as a Business Administrator Apprentice, it has helped me understand the foundations of what can be required with a business”.

Start Up! Stamford is a competition launched by local business people to help young people get started in business. The competition was open to those aged 17-21 who live in Stamford and surrounding areas.

Runners up included Mitchell Jones, who has set up an online remote control vehicle business; and Joe Hambleton, who came up with a fashion brand.
