Experiment using both studio and darkroom techniques and develop your photographs into creative and diverse imagery for print. Create images and manipulate them into a wide range of advertising and promotional materials, strengthening your ability to use different drawing, visualising, illustrating, media and computer design programmes. You will have access to the latest Adobe Suite software to provide you with the skills you need to enter this exciting industry.

This course is approximately 60% exam and 40% coursework.

You will learn and practise new skills in both photography and graphic design in creative, digital and studio workshops. To inspire your artistic development, you will have the opportunity to visit exhibitions, museums and galleries throughout the course. Along the way you will develop your own sketchbook, recording your ideas and inspiration.

APS* of 40 and 5 GCSEs at grades 5/C or above including English and maths, and a grade 6/B or above in an arts-based subject.

The APS (Average Point Score) of 40 = an average of grade C in all GCSEs taken. BTEC equivalents are not acceptable.
