Build on your experience in hospitality services and support your management teams by independently supervising hospitality services and running shifts. You will work under pressure delivering fantastic customer service and motivating a team as part of your role. You can work within a range of roles, for example, a Food and Beverage Supervisor, Housekeeping Supervisor, Concierge Supervisor, Front Office Supervisor, Events Supervisor or a Hospitality Outlet Supervisor.
This course is approximately 80% work and 20% training.
You will be employed as an apprentice for at least 30 hours a week. You will have a workplace mentor or supervisor who will be responcible for your training and welfare at work. You will attend college for workshop sessions as required. An assessor will visit you in the workplace to assess your progress against standards and set SMART objectives.
On completion, you will be fully competent as a Hospitality Supervisor. You could also progress to a higher management position with further training.
Individual employers set their own entry requirements. However, you will typically require 5 GSCEs at grades 4/C or above including English and maths.
