‘I feel the course has benefited me in terms of extending my knowledge and understanding of sports and different subjects and issues surrounding the sports industry. I have thoroughly enjoyed the course and would highly recommended it to friends and family as well as others looking to obtain a foundation degree from a well organised and professional college. The level of support I have been given is fantastic and the lecturers are extremely knowledgeable. We have been assessed through a variety of assessment methods that have given me the skills necessary for a successful career. This programme will enable me to follow my career path into teaching, allowing me to top up to full BA (Hons), complete my PGCE, and become a PE teacher’. Ryan Lomas

‘I chose the course because I want a career in the sports industry. This course has been very beneficial and improved my understanding and knowledge of this diverse industry. New College Stamford is a very friendly college and is a good place to obtain a degree. The sport degree programme has been run and organised very professionally by highly qualified tutors who have direct experience of working as academics and out in the field as consultants, sports coaches and therapists. As such the lessons are very enjoyable, with the opportunity to engage with the tutors regularly, something I may not have got from University with hundreds of other students on one module. I have particularly enjoyed studying Anatomy and Sport and Exercise Psychology in years 1 and 2’. Laura Pike.
