More great news to report! This time coming from the sports department. On Tuesday the 12th June 2018, the Year 2 sports students visited the Matt Hampson’s rehabilitation centre at Burrough on the hill, deep in the heart of the Rutland Countryside. They had the opportunity to meet the inspirational Matt Hampson who has set up a foundation to help inspire and support young people seriously injured through sport. The students presented him with a cheque for £1213.75 (As seen in the picture below). This visit was a culmination of a 4 month long project that has seen the students organise 5 mini events in aid of the charity. To raise the amount, they did various challenges that included biking over 250 miles, rowing 26 miles, running 120 miles and delivering a Rugby themed school funday to 120 children. Fantastic work to everyone that has been involved. If you want to find out more about the charity and Matt, this is his twitter -   image001
