Our determined Public Services students completed the annual Peak District expedition last week.

They had to undertake a 3-day expedition to the Dark Peak, ascending the highest peak, and finally up Kinder Scout on their second day – which is the highest point in the whole of the East Midlands!

During their challenge the students had to test their navigation and expedition skills, which were expected to successfully sustain themselves for the duration. It was a challenging time for them, covering a total distance of around 20 miles!

If you would like to go on exciting and adventurous trips, why not have a look at our vast range of Public Services courses on our website – http://www.stamford.ac.uk/departments/public-services/
