The Royal Marines headed down to the new Borderville Sports Complex for a fun filled day of fitness. Our Public Services students took part in quizzes, a tough fitness and circuit session to put their  stamina to the test and were also invited to a presentation to find out about careers in the Royal Marines.

Public Services Lecturer Kirsty Smith said “Students were able to speak to real life marines and  able to realise the levels of fitness and entry requirements needed to become a Royal Marine Commando.”

Career led excursions and visits such as these allow our students to access pathways for getting in to  in the Public Services.

If you are interested in Public Services and want the chance to experience fantastic opportunities like these and study in our new Borderville Sports Complex call 01780 484311 or email enquiries@stamford.ac.uk for more information.
