Department overview

We are proud of our 100% pass rate in 2019 and offer an Aim Higher Programme so you can access all the value of a sixth form, whilst developing your independence and experiences to prepare you effectively for university and beyond.

Don’t just take our word for it, OFSTED said: “Through effective teaching and assessment, staff encourage learners to develop good independent-study and critical-thinking skills that enable them to reflect upon and improve their own work. These skills prepare them well for study at a higher level.

We have a dedicated Sixth Form Centre with access to state-of-the-art science labs, IT suites, photography studios and dark rooms to specialist design, textile and editing workshops, alongside our recently refurbished library and dedicated social spaces to catch up with friends.
