The course aims to equip learners with essential IT and business skills, enhancing their employability skills and creating a pathway to level 2 IT or business qualifications. It is designed for those interested in advancing or starting a career in the IT or business sectors. You will be given the opportunity to acquire and develop the generic transferable skills needed to progress further with your learning.

Either an Entry Level 3 qualification or 3 GCSEs at grade 1/E or above in English, maths and science and a formal interview. You will also have been given the opportunity to retake GCSE maths and/or English or follow the Functional Skills route if required, and will automatically be enrolled on these subjects if you have not achieved a grade 4.
All assessments are internally marked and quality assured by Gateway. The units are evidence based and will be assessed in a variety of different methods.
No additional cost, however, we will be looking to participate in trips and visit throughout the year.
We highly recommend all learners going on work experience, however, it is not essential to achieve the qualification. The programme will focus on work related learning projects.
