Exploring Catering, Retail and Life Skills Entry Level 2 and 3

On completion of this course, you can progress to Employability Plus or Supported Internships. You could also progress to Pathways, which will allow you to make the transition to further learning in the main college environment.

Gain specific and transferable work skills whilst exploring careers in the service industries. You will undertake learning in a range of real and realistic working environments, including our on-site cafe and retail shop. You will learn how to prepare, cook and serve a range of dishes and also learn other work-related tasks such as safe storage of food and cleaning food areas. You will also develop retail, customer service and business skills and undertake work experience in real catering and retail environments. This programme also includes sessions in English and maths, enrichment, tutorials, independence and supported study.
