Course overview

In this qualification you will master more complex accounting disciplines including financial processes, advanced bookkeeping, final accounts and ethical practices for accountants

Duration: 36 weeks

Day: 2 days per week, Tuesdays and Thursdays

Start Date: 17th September 2019

Time: 6pm to 9pm

 

Entry Requirements

You will require GCSE grades C/​4 or above in English and maths.

How The Course Will Be Assessed

Four units are assessed by individual computer based assessments with a further synoptic CBA which links the whole qualification.

Fees, Finance & Funding

Under 19: £free

Over 19: £2573.00

This course is free for those who are under 19 on 31 August of the year they start their course. For those aged 19+, this course will cost £2573. This includes all examination and tuition fees but examination re-sit fees will apply, the fee will also include a range of resources to help you with your studies. You will also need to register with the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) which currently costs £132. Those aged 19 – 23 may be entitled to fee remission if they don’t already hold a Level 3 qualification. Students unemployed and in receipt of a benefit, or working and earning less than £300 per month and in receipt of a wider benefit such as Housing Benefit, Income Support etc may also be eligible for fee remission. Potential Future Career

Achieve professional AAT Bookkeeper status.

If you successfully complete this qualification, you can apply for AAT associate bookkeeping membership and achieve professional AATQB status. This qualification is also worth 160 UCAS points if you are considering going on to study at university.
