Course overview
The Level 3 Award in Education and Training is an introduction to teaching that will give you an insight into the roles, responsibilities and relationships in education and training, how to plan and deliver inclusive teaching/training sessions and how to assess and give constructive and developmental feedback. It is designed to give people the knowledge and confidence to teach in the post 16 education sector. This could be as a trainer in the private training industry or as a teacher/lecturer in further education. This course is for new teachers with no teaching qualifications or people who are not teaching yet.

How The Course Will Be Assessed
Assessment will include a series of written assignments, portfolio development and a micro teach to fellow students. The qualification is awarded by City and Guilds and on successful completion of all three units is worth 15 credits.
Fees, Finance & Funding
£672 payable upon enrolment on to the course.
Potential Future Career
The Award is worth 12 credits and is the first step in to further teaching qualifications such as the TAQA — Level 4 Award in Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practices.
