Course overview

This newly developed qualification aims to provide professional development opportunities for practitioners working in the school and college workforce.

The qualification will embrace your wealth of experience, proven knowledge and skills in a teaching and learning environment, and challenge you in both daily practice and theoretical understanding.

You will acquire and use skills of leadership, mentoring, coaching and reflection as you complete the qualification through work-based learning opportunities. Upon achievement of this qualification, you will be equipped as an Advanced Practitioner.

As an Advanced Practitioner you will use crucial leadership skills to mentor others across all roles and responsibilities in the school or college workforce. 

This qualification is assessed entirely in the workplace.

Entry Requirements

For anyone aged 19+. These can be undertaken if you are a paid employee or a volunteer working for at least 12 hours per week.

Fees, Finance & Funding

£811

However, this qualification may be free to learners up to age 23 without 5 GCSEs at grades 9 — 4 (A*- C) or a full Level 3 qualification.

Alternatively, they can be funded using an Advanced Learner Loan.
