Course overview

Advance your customer service skills and act as a referall point for dealing with more complex or technical customer requests, complaints, and queries. You will become an expert in your organisation’s products and/​or services and able to share knowledge with your wide team and colleagues. This could be in a variety of environments including contact centres, retail, web chat, service industry or any customer service point. This course is approximately 80% work and 20% training.


What Does The Programme Include

You will be employed as an apprentice for at least 30 hours a week. You will have a workplace mentor or supervisor who will be responcible for your training and welfare at work. You will attend college for workshop sessions as required. An assessor will visit you in the workplace to assess your progress against standards and set SMART objectives.

Entry Requirements

Individual employers set their own entry requirements. However, you will typically require 5 GCSEs at grades 4/​C or above including English and maths.

Potential Future Career

As a fully competent Customer Service Specialist, you could progress to the HND in Business at Universtiy Centre Stamford or other Business degrees at university, or enter the industry and work towards a management position.
