Practical Vs Theory
Gain specific and transferable work skills whilst exploring careers in the service industries. You will undertake learning in a range of real and realistic working environments, including our on-site café and retail shop. You will learn how to prepare, cook and serve a range of dishes and also learn other work-related tasks such as safe storage of food and cleaning food areas. You will also develop retail, customer service and business skills and undertake work experience in real catering and retail environments. This programme also include sessions in English and maths, enrichment, tutorials, independence and supported study. This course is 25% theory and 75% practical.
