Practical Vs Theory
Course overview
This seventeen-week course results in a qualification recognised and respected by colleges and employers. Completing it will give you the skills to analyse, interpret and process information at work or at home.
The course consists of three units:
- Reading
- Writing
- Speaking & Listening
These units will be delivered by our friendly and experienced tutor, but you may need to practice your new skills at home as well. You will be assessed before starting your course to check your current skills, and the exam will take place 1 week after the end of the course. Upon achievement, many people progress into a GCSE course.
Who is it for?
This course is ideal for someone who wants to be able to improve their employment prospects or be confident in their writing and when speaking and listening at work or socially. This qualification is recognised and respected by colleges and employers and gives you the skills to analyse, interpret and process information at work or at home. Many people progress into a GCSE course.

Course Time: Daytime, 12:30 pm to 3:00 pm. Evening, 6.00 pm to 8.30pm.
