Course overview
What Does The Programme Include
All units will be assessed in line with the Skills for Care and Development’s QCF Assessment Principles. Assessment decisions for competence based learning outcomes will be made by an occupationally competent assessor. Expert witnesses can be used for direct observation where they have occupational expertise for specialist areas or the observation is of a particularly sensitive nature. The use of expert witnesses will be determined and agreed by the assessor. Assessment decisions for knowledge based learning outcomes will be made by an assessor qualified to make assessment decisions.
Entry Requirements
Completion of the Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care and relevant senior job role or responsibilities in the Health and Social Care sector.
Additional Information
In additon to direct observations, you will need to complete and pass a number of written assignments to achieve this qualification.
Potential Future Career
You can progress onto the Level 5 Diploma in Leadership Health and Social Care or specialist qualifications reflecting the context in which you work.
