Course overview

Supported Internships support your progression and will enable you to achieve sustainable employment. You will undertake a range of employability sessions to equip you with the skills you need for the workplace. You will engage in work placements and have the opportunity to study for relevant qualifications such as English and maths. Supported Internships are unpaid, and will run for 1 year. Wherever possible, the College will support you to move into paid employment at the end of the programme.


Entry Requirements

You must have an Education, Health and Care Plan or be in the process of applying for one.

Must be 16 – 24 at the start of the course.

Must be motivated towards gaining employment.

Potential Future Career

With the experience gained during the course, students will be able and the college will support students; to progress to employment in a number of job roles.

Course Content

  • Employability sessions to equip students with the skills needed for the workplace.

  • Supported internships are unpaid, and will run for 1 year.
