Practical Vs Theory
This course will provide you with the key skills and understanding to prepare you for careers working with children between birth and 5 years, gaining further knowledge of children up to 7 years of age. You will learn about the role of an Early Years Practitioner, working in partnership, safeguarding and the benefits of play. You will undertake a minimum of 250 hours within work placement in nursery or primary school settings to broaden your knowledge and experience in the Early Years sector. This course is approximately 70% theory and 30% practical.
Real work placements on the course help prepare you for the real world and have helped me gain the experience I needed to secure an offer to study a Degree in Primary Education.
