Who is it for?
If you want to develop the practical skills and experience you need to pursue a career working with animals, this is the course for you!. You will learn how to maintain animal accommodation, practical feeding, caring for exotic animals and their biology. You will undertake compulsory work experience to expand your knowledge, working in real life animal care settings.

There are hands-on practical elements to this course and steel toe capped boots and sensible clothing is required, including a Stamford College tunic which is available to purchase from our website. These are essential and must be worn whilst working on the Animal Studies Unit. Additionally, all jewellery, piercings, false nails and nail varnish must be removed during practical sessions and long hair tied back.
