Who is it for?

This qualification is intended for practising electricians, holding a relevant level 3 qualification (such as C&G 2365/2357/2330/8282/5357/5393, equivalent historic qualifications or other awarding organisation equivalent).

What is covered?

The City & Guilds 2391-52 Level 3 Award in Initial and Periodic Inspection and Testing of Electrical Installations is a vocational qualification for experienced electricians. It covers the skills and knowledge required to perform initial verification and periodic inspection and testing of electrical installations, and to certify those installations. This qualification is a combination of the 2391-50 (initial verification) and 2391-51 (periodic inspection) courses.
