What can this course lead to?

On successful completion of this course, you can progress to the Electrical Installation Technical Certificate Level 3 or Construction and the Built Environment Diploma Level 3 with a view to progressing to university or into a managerial apprenticeship. You could also progress to job roles such as an Electrical Assistant or an Installation or Maintenance Electrician Apprentice.

Who is it for?

This course is your next step towards becoming a qualified Electrician. You will gan practical experience with tasks to replicate industry standard electrical installations. You will learn theory of DC, AC and environmental installation, basic principles of generating, transmitting and distributing electricity, and the regulations and requirements for domestic installations. All whilst developing practical skills in our professional electrical workshops.

You will complete a range of units: Health and safety Principles of electrical science Electrical installation technology Installation of wiring systems and technology Understanding of communication with others within the building services
