On successful completion of this course, you can progress to study football or specific sports related degrees at University. You could also progress in to Football Coaching with current and appropriate coaching qualifications.

Who is it for?
If you want to develop your football skills and ability through practical learning and regular participation in competitive league matches with teams at your level, this is the perfect course for you.
The Female Football Academy provides students with the platform to develop the technical, tactical, physical and psychological aspects of their game, allowing players to develop their game intelligence.
We make sure all of our students train to their highest potential with our highly qualified coaches, whilst at the same time excel in the classroom, providing routes to progress into employment, apprenticeships & university, both in England and the USA. You will study 15 hours per week in the classroom and complete six hours football training as well as competing on a Wednesday against other colleges within AOC Competitions and add hoc friendlies.

4 GCSEs at grades 4/C or above including English or a Football Development diploma Level 2 at distinction. English is required due to the level of literacy in exams and coursework.
You will learn through undertaking research assignments and practical activities that have been designed to relate to the Football industry. You will have the opportunity to take part a week of work experience to give you a real insight into the industry and also spend some volunteer football coaching time within the community.
You will be assessed through course work including presentations, reports and assignments which are uploaded online. Two units will be assessed by exams.
Additional costs include £150.00 towards uniform to be worn at training, matches and within the classroom, and £100 for trips across the year locally and further afield including Etihad Stadium Tour and National BMX centre practical, St Georges Park and paintball. Students purchase a specific footballer kit package at the beginning of the course for £150, this is to be worn at training, matches and within the classroom.
