This course is designed for students who want to build a strong foundation in GCSE Science, English, and Maths while developing the essential skills needed for further study, training, or employment.

Who is it for?

This course is designed for students who have not yet achieved Grade 4 in GCSE English Language, Maths or Science and want to continue with academic study. It is also suitable for learners who want to build their confidence, strengthen their academic skills and prepare for future progression.

What is covered?

This course covers the key knowledge and skills needed to achieve GCSE qualifications in English, Maths, and Science.

In English, students will develop their reading, writing, and spoken communication skills, learning how to analyse texts, write for different purposes, and express ideas clearly.

In Maths, learners will build confidence in numeracy, including number operations, algebra, geometry, and problem-solving, with a focus on applying maths to real-life situations.

In Science, students will study fundamental concepts across biology, chemistry, and physics, developing an understanding of how science explains the world around us through both theory and practical investigation.
