Plumbing Diploma Level 2

On successful completion of this course, you can progress to the Plumbing Technical Certificate Level 3. Alternatively, you can progress to the Construction and the Built Environment Extended Diploma Level 3 with a view to progressing to university or to a managerial apprenticeship. To be recognised as a qualified plumber requires that you complete an additional plumbing NVQ which can only be obtained whilst working within the plumbing industry.

This course is for students who want to develop their practical skills and knowledge of installing and maintaining modern domestic plumbing systems for work in the plumbing industry. You will train in our workshops through practical taks simulated to match real life scenarios. You will learn the electrical and scientific principles for domestic, industrial and commercial plumbing as well as common plumbing, processes, hot water, drainage and central heating systems and sanitation.

You will cover many topics including: Health and safety in building services engineering Electrical principles and processes for building services engineering Scientific principles for domestic, industrial and commercial plumbing Common plumbing processes Cold water systems Domestic hot water systems Sanitation Central heating systems Drainage systems
