Who is it for?
Optimise property condition and ensure buildings are kept in a safe working condition. As a Property Maintenance Operative you will maintain a high level of quality and provide maximum satisfaction to customers, clients, guests and your team. You will explore the mechanisms of building and preventing major damage that could result in extensive costs and maximise reactive intervention.
This apprenticeship is aimed at employees in a multi-trade, and is available in the following fields; electrical maintenance, heating and conditioning maintenance, building structure maintenance, carpentry tasks, plastering and tiling.

4 GCSEs at grades 3/D or above is desirable but a lower attainment may be considered.

You will be employed as an apprentice for at least 30 hours a week. You will have a workplace mentor or supervisor who will be responsible for your training and welfare at work. You will attend college for workshop sessions as required.
An assessor will visit you in the workplace to assess your progress against standards and set SMART objectives.
