5 GCSEs grade 4 and above including English GCSE. English is essential for the written part of the course. There are several reports, such as client feedback forms, that need to be written and therefore English is necessary. Those who do not achieve English can start on the level 2 Sport programme, and progress to level 3 the following year.
Delivery will be face-to-face with a mixture of classroom-based and practical units.
The course is assessed through a mixture of exams and coursework-based units. Practical assessments are also used throughout the course.
Fees will apply to 19+ learners or those who may have previously studied a Level 3 qualification.
