Who is it for?

The T Level Building Services Engineering – Plumbing program at Inspire Education Group is designed to provide students with advanced plumbing and building services engineering training. This two-year course focuses on in-depth plumbing skills, advanced techniques, and specialised knowledge to prepare students for leadership roles in the plumbing industry.

With blended-learning lessons and fun sessions in purpose-built workshops, you will get an in-depth introduction to how the construction industry works, the theories and principles of design, and the role of technology and sustainability, and head out on a 45-day industry placement to enhance your developing skills. If you are not quite ready for a T level, then a transition programme could give you the chance to improve your maths and English (and any other subjects that you need to improve) to move on to a T level the following year.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

4 GCSEs at grades 4/C or above including English and Maths (or Functional Skills at Level 2) and either a science or design technology based subject.

Students who have achieved the Level 2 Diploma in Plumbing will be considered for this T level if they have achieved Maths and English to Grade 4/C or above.

You must demonstrate a minimum of 90% attendance at your last place of work or study.

If you don’t meet these requirements but want to start on your chosen career path, entry requirements for Foundation Programmes are slightly lower. You will need a minimum Grade 3 in English (language) and a Grade 4 in maths, plus two other GCSEs at grade 3 or above. If you don’t meet these foundation entry requirements, a Level 1 course may be an option for you, 4 GCSEs at grade 3 or above, including English and maths. We will review each application case-by-case to ensure you get a place on the most suitable course.
