You will learn about the value of digital technology and gain an understanding of customer and commercial needs. Discussions about the ethical and moral issues raised by the increasing reliance on technology and automation and the importance of legal requirements will form part of your studies.

All that you learn will then be put to practical use on your industrial placement, where you will be supported throughout by your tutors and mentors to apply what you have learnt to your job role.

In addition, you will have the opportunity to explore emerging technology trends and innovations such as Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning, Augmented Reality (AR), Blockchain and 3D printing.

This technical study programme is an attractive alternative to A Levels and apprenticeships and is designed in consultation with employers, professional bodies and higher-education providers to give you the industry skills you need in order to start your career within the digital industry.
