English and Maths are the qualifications that open the next door. For many of our learners, a GCSE or Functional Skills pass is what moves them on to a course, an apprenticeship or a job. As a lecturer here, you’ll help them get there, and help them build a better relationship with the subject along the way.
You’ll teach learners of all abilities, with the freedom to plan engaging lessons, create your own resources and use technology to bring the subject to life. You’ll do it as part of a collaborative English and Maths team that’s passionate about improving outcomes, and one that grows its own: several of these vacancies exist because colleagues have been promoted.
Our continued success is down to the hard work, determination and quality of our staff across the group.
We believe everyone here has a part to play in doing all we can to further the success of our students, and we value each and every member of staff. In return, they become part of a caring and friendly team with a supportive and inspiring ethos.
Inspire Education Group has been named “Training Provider of the Year” two years in a row at the Peterborough Telegraph Apprenticeship Awards, as well as “Large Business of the Year” at the Mercury Business Awards in 2025.

Teaching is about so much more than English. It’s about building confidence, resilience and skills for life.
The most rewarding part of teaching is seeing students grow in confidence and knowing I’ve played a part in their journey.
I feel supported and trusted to teach creatively, while continuing to develop my own skills.
