Open Event – Wednesday 27th January 2027
Why attend an open event?
Our Open Events are a great opportunity to explore your options after Year 11 and get a feel for life at Stamford College.
Discover A Levels, T Levels, Apprenticeships and other technical qualifications, and find out which route could be right for you. You can explore the campus and facilities, meet our tutors and speak to current students about their experience.
It’s the perfect chance to ask questions, learn more about your options and start planning your next step.
What to expect
We strongly recommend registering in advance for a quicker check-in experience. Visitors who have not registered will need to complete registration on arrival, which takes around five minutes per person and may involve a longer wait in a separate registration queue.
Open Events can be busy, particularly around the college car park, so please allow plenty of time for your journey and arrival.
The arrival time you select when registering helps us spread visitors throughout the event and reduce queues. We recommend arriving around 15 minutes before your selected arrival time to give yourself time to park and check in.
Before you visit
You don’t need to bring anything with you other than your questions.
Before attending, we recommend exploring our website and taking a look at the different subjects and courses available. Having an idea of what you would like to find out more about will help you make the most of your visit.
Once you’re here, take the opportunity to explore the campus, see our facilities and speak to tutors and students about the courses you’re interested in.
Sport and Public Services
Sport and Public Services courses are based at Borderville Sports Centre in Stamford.
If you are interested in these courses, you can travel directly to Borderville Sports Centre or visit the main Stamford College campus first and take a minibus across.
Please allow a little extra time if you plan to use the minibus service.
