Animal Care and Business T Level Students Collaborate for a Day of Learning and Skill-Building
Stamford College recently hosted an exciting collaboration between Animal Care and Business T Level students, providing a valuable day of shared learning and hands-on experience.
The event combined practical workshops in the Animal Care Studies Department with finance-focused business activities, giving students the opportunity to apply their skills in real-world scenarios while learning from peers in a different subject area.
The collaboration allowed students to develop key transferable skills, including teamwork, communication, problem-solving, and creativity, while gaining insight into how financial principles can support practical work in settings such as animal care. Working together across disciplines encouraged innovative thinking and provided fresh perspectives for all participants.
Students responded enthusiastically to the experience, highlighting how much they benefited from learning alongside peers from another course. The day offered a dynamic and interactive environment where students could connect theory to practice, enhancing their understanding of both subjects while building confidence in a collaborative setting.
With more collaboration days planned, Stamford College is excited to continue creating opportunities that support students’ future careers, preparing them for the workplace with practical experience, cross-disciplinary knowledge, and essential professional skills.
