AQA Declares Stamford College s Highest Achiever for A Level Physics

The awarding body AQA has declared Stamford College, part of Inspire Education Group, as the top achieving educational institution for AQA A Level Physics in the academic year 2021/2022.

The awarding body AQA has declared Stamford College, part of Inspire Education Group, as the top achieving educational institution for AQA A Level Physics in the academic year 2021/2022.

According to AQA data, Stamford College achieved the highest number of A* and A grades in the country – a remarkable 71.4% of the College cohort, compared to the AQA centre national average of 39.4%.

Paul Donschak, Lecturer in Mathematics and Science, said that the achievement was a testament to the hard work and dedication of the College’s students, “The students achieved the highest grades compared to similar colleges and all AQA centres, including schools across the country. The students were exceptional, being highly motivated, dedicated and wanting to achieve the highest grades possible, which they did!”.

Students that have studied A Level Physics at Stamford College have followed impressive progression routes. One student is Katy Ashdown, who studied Astrophysics at university after completing A Levels in Physics, Maths and Further Maths at Stamford College. She said, “Stamford College helped me get to where I am today. We didn’t just learn from textbooks, but participated in practical lab experiments, helping me prepare for university. Determined to get an A grade out of me, the support and encouragement from my tutors was amazing. They gave me the confidence I needed to succeed.”
