Congratulations to Georgia Hill – Bronze Winner at The Pearson National Teaching Awards!

20 June 2025

We are thrilled to celebrate Georgia Hill, who has been awarded the Bronze Award for Further Education Lecturer of the Year at the prestigious Pearson National Teaching Awards 2025.

Nominated by her students and fellow staff, Georgia’s recognition is a testament to her unwavering commitment to education, her students and her continuous professional development.

The Pearson National Teaching Awards celebrate the impact of exceptional educators across the UK. Being recognised on a national platform is an incredible honour – and one that Georgia has earned through dedication to her students.

Kate Michael, Head of Faculty for Service Industries, shared, “We were over the moon to hear that Georgia had received a Bronze Award for The Pearson National Teaching Awards. What truly makes Georgia exceptional is her extraordinary ability to connect with every learner. Drawing on her professional background as a prison officer, she brings invaluable real-world experience to her lessons, organising impactful contact days with emergency services and armed forces.” Kate added, “Even while managing demanding roles, Georgia remains committed to her own growth and embodies the very essence of an exceptional educator, her profound positive impact makes her a truly transformative force in education, inspiring both students and colleagues to reach their full potential.”

We are so proud of Georgia and all that she brings to our College community. Her Bronze Award is richly deserved, and we look forward to seeing her continued impact in the classroom and beyond.
