Determination Pays Off as Inspire Education Group Students Celebrate GCSE Success
Inspire Education Group (IEG) students are celebrating another year of outstanding progression at this year’s GCSE Results Day, as students at Stamford College and Peterborough College collect their English and Maths results. Across the group, students have enjoyed a highly successful summer, contributing to 422 high grades achieved throughout the academic year.
With the latest National Achievement Rates Tables (NARTs), ranking IEG 4th nationally for GCSE English and maths achievement, the dedication of learners and staff have supported hundreds of students to move forward with their next ambitious steps, whether that means moving onto higher-level college courses, stepping directly into the industry or heading to university.
Alfie Chapman and Elizabeth Cree, who have both achieved a grade 5 in GCSE maths, are progressing to the next level of study with Inspire Education Group. Alfie is moving on to Animal Care at Stamford College, while Elizabeth is progressing to Performing Arts at Peterborough College.
Imogen Thompson, who studied Level 2 Early Years, is now progressing onto a Level 3 Apprenticeship with local nursery, The Mulberry Bush after achieving a Grade 4 in GCSE Maths. Imogen said, “The Team was so supportive, they organised revision groups and all the past papers were so helpful to know what to expect.”
At Peterborough College, Megan Finnimore, who studied Level 2 Childcare, is now progressing onto a Degree Apprenticeship with Welland Academy with Norwich University. Speaking about her experience, Megan said, “Studying for my GCSE alongside my main qualification was a smooth experience, largely thanks to the tutors who were consistently supportive, approachable and encouraging.”
Everyone at Inspire Education Group celebrates the determination shown by our GCSE students today and looks forward to seeing all they accomplish in the future.
