Inspire Education Group Students Face Off in First Inter-College Sports Competition

Students from Peterborough College and Stamford College have come together to kick off a new cross-group sports series, competing in a high-energy inter-college volleyball game!

Hosted as part of an ongoing initiative across Inspire Education Group (IEG), the event brings learners from both campuses together to build healthy competition, active participation, and positive campus community spirit.

The volleyball fixture delivered exciting gameplay as teams from each college demonstrated communication and determination on the court. Beyond the competitive scoreboard, the tournament focused heavily on building key personal development skills, giving students a valuable opportunity to collaborate with new peers, strengthen their teamwork, and build resilience in a supportive sports environment.

Following the success of the volleyball event, excitement is already building for the next fixture in the IEG tournament calendar, an inter-college Dodgeball competition set to take place at Stamford College in December. The ongoing tournament series will continue throughout the academic year, offering students across all departments regular opportunities to represent their college, stay active, and connect across the wider IEG network.
