Local Nursery Leader Inspires Next Generation of Early Years Educators at Stamford College

To officially kick off Careers Week, Stamford College welcomed Lorna from Acorn Nursery for an engaging guest speaker session with Level 2 and Level 3 Early Years students.

Lorna shared insights into the essential skills required to thrive in the modern childcare industry, providing students with a clear roadmap of the diverse job roles available after the completion of their courses. Beyond career pathways, she showcased the high-quality facilities at Acorn Nursery, giving students a firsthand look at the standards expected in a professional setting.

Over the years, Acorn has been hosting students for work experience and high-quality T-Level placements. This collaboration ensures that students aren’t just learning from textbooks, but are gaining real-world, hands-on experience, making them highly employable candidates as they enter the workforce.
