Local Plumbing Students Level Up with Industry Giant Polypipe

The Plumbing Department recently welcomed industry leaders Polypipe for a day of hands-on workshops, giving students a unique opportunity to learn from the best in the trade.

The visit, held in the college’s brand-new, state-of-the-art workshop, saw students engaging in practical sessions designed to bridge the gap between classroom learning and site-ready skills. As part of their commitment to supporting the next generation of installers, Polypipe also donated a significant amount of professional-grade fittings and equipment to the college’s training stores.

Following the success of the workshop, plans are underway for a factory tour of Polypipe’s manufacturing site, specifically designed for T Level students. This trip will allow learners to complete technical tasks in a manufacturing environment, helping them secure the essential industry hours required for their qualification.
