Radical Motorsport Brings High-Performance Engineering to Stamford College Motor Vehicle Students

Engineering excellence roared onto the Stamford College campus this week as Radical Motorsport, one of the world’s most prolific racing car manufacturers, visited to inspire the next generation of automotive technicians.

The visit provided Motor Vehicle students with a rare, “under-the-hood” look at world-class racing technology. Based just down the road in Peterborough, Radical Motorsport has spent over 25 years perfecting the art of the “purpose-built” race car. 

Students were given an exclusive tour of a Radical car, led by industry experts who detailed the unique engineering that allows these machines to outperform traditional supercars on the track.

The visit wasn’t just about the machinery, it was about career pathways. Radical representatives shared information on their global racing series, spanning four continents, and the diverse roles available within a professional racing team, from data engineers to master technicians.
