St George’s Primary School Pupils Showcase Pizza Skills at Stamford College
Stamford College’s Catering and Hospitality Department was filled with the aroma of freshly baked dough as it welcomed enthusiastic young pupils from St George’s Primary School for a special culinary workshop.
The interactive session saw students from Year 3 and Year 6 trade the traditional classroom for a professional kitchen environment, where they were given the chance to put their pizza-making skills to the test.
Under the guidance of Stamford College’s current Catering and Hospitality students, the primary school pupils learned the fundamentals of food preparation, from perfecting dough placement to choosing balanced toppings. The event was designed to spark an early interest in the culinary arts while giving the college students valuable experience in mentoring and leadership.
The collaboration highlights Stamford College’s ongoing commitment to engaging with the local community and inspiring the next generation of hospitality professionals.
