Stamford Alumni Graduate Progressing to High-Level Role

A former student of the Stamford Air & Defence College (ADC) is celebrating a major milestone this week as he officially transitions from student to serviceman.

Air Recruit William Isley, a 2022-23 graduate who completed the Air and Defence college alongside a Level 3 in Computing, has graduated from the Recruit Training Squadron (RTS) at RAF Halton.

The graduation marks the successful completion of William’s Phase 1 training, a rigorous initial military program designed to transform civilians into highly disciplined personnel. His journey from Stamford’s specialised curriculum to the parade square at RAF Halton highlights the College’s success in preparing students for the mental and physical demands of a career in the Armed Forces.

Air Recruit Isley will begin his Phase 2 training in the new year. He will undergo 14 weeks of intensive specialist training and upon completion, he will be posted to his very first tour of duty.
