Stamford College Beauty Students Raise Over £260 for Action for Pulmonary Fibrosis
Our Level 3 Beauty students successfully hosted a professional wellness evening that raised over £260 for Action for Pulmonary Fibrosis.
While the guests came for relaxation, the students were busy behind the scenes running the full event from beauty therapists to salon managers. As part of their advanced qualification, the group took total control of the event’s logistics to manage budget planning, detailed risk assessments and marketing campaigns.
From 2:30 pm to 6:00 pm, visitors and members of the community were invited into the department, where they were booked in for a range of discounted professional treatments, including:
Deep-cleansing facials
Relaxing back massages
Expert manicures and pedicures
Students curated a full “client journey,” including professional consultations, a retail display for take home products, and a tombola that kept the energy high. The event was also a collaboration with the Catering department who joined the fun, providing a spread of canapes for guests to enjoy downstairs.
The students produced everything from the flyers to the feedback forms. Raising £270 for Action for Pulmonary Fibrosis which was a great accumulation of the hard work.
The money raised will go directly to supporting families and funding research for those living with pulmonary fibrosis, a cause the students were passionate about supporting.
Thank you to all the visitors who helped our students with their event and raised money for a great cause.
