Stamford College Celebrates Mental Health Awareness Week with Wellbeing Activities

Stamford College proudly celebrated Mental Health Awareness Week with a series of engaging and uplifting activities designed to promote wellbeing, mindfulness, and connection across the College community.

One of the highlights was a chocolate wellbeing experience hosted by our dedicated Welfare Team, encouraging students to take a moment to relax and recharge.

The event featured a calming chocolate meditation session delivered by our Borderville students, offering a unique way to slow down, de-stress, and practise mindfulness. Our Catering students also contributed by leading nutritious snack-making workshops, demonstrating how simple, healthy foods can support both physical and mental wellness.

Alongside the activities, a range of support stands were available, run in collaboration with A Level students and members of the Student Union. These stands provided advice, resources, and friendly guidance on mental health, helping students learn more about the support networks available at College and beyond.

The week was a brilliant example of collaboration across departments, bringing together students and staff in a positive, supportive environment. It reinforced the importance of taking time to unwind, check in with one another, and prioritise mental wellbeing—values at the heart of the Stamford College community.
