Stamford College Students Showcased Creative Talent at Stamford Arts Centre's One World Week Exhibition

26 October 2026

Stamford College students proudly displayed their artwork and creative projects at the annual One World Week exhibition, which was hosted in The Gallery at Stamford Arts Centre from Monday 19th to Saturday 24th October.

Centred around this year’s inspiring theme, “Growing Together – Nature, Growth, Collaboration,” the exhibition served as a community call to action for building a more just, equal, and inclusive world.

Organised in partnership with the Rutland & Stamford Fairtrade Forum and supported by Central Co-op, the week-long event featured interactive displays, fairtrade stalls, and a vibrant exhibition preview complete with live music and fairtrade refreshments.

Participating in this event provided an invaluable live brief experience for Stamford College students, requiring them to respond directly to a professional creative brief centred on sustainability and social justice.

Working against authentic deadlines and public expectations pushed the students to translate complex global topics like environmental growth and community collaboration into meaningful visual media. By completing this external live brief, students developed industry skills that directly prepare them for professional careers in the creative sector.

Exhibiting their work gave students a platform to showcase their talents to the wider community. Seeing their artwork displayed in a public gallery alongside local action groups built immense professional confidence and provided them with gallery experience for their future portfolios and career pathways.

Stamford College extends its congratulations to all the students involved for their outstanding contributions to such an impactful community event.
