Stamford College T-Level Students Gain Hands-On Experience at Acorn Childcare Centre
T-Level students from Stamford College visited Acorn Childcare Centre in Stamford to gain insight into the operations of a nursery environment.
The visit offered learners an opportunity to observe professionals in the early years setting, engage with staff and understand how childcare theories translate into day-to-day practice.
During the visit, students took part in observational and interactive tasks that deepened their understanding of child development, safeguarding, and the daily routines that support young children’s learning and wellbeing.
This experience complements their study of the T-Level in Education and Early Years, which emphasises both practical placement learning and academic knowledge. A great visit to develop understanding and skills for the upcoming placement of all T Level students.
The college is proud to support its students in developing real-world skills and confidence through industry engagements such as this nursery visit. These experiences help prepare students for future roles in early years education and childcare — whether that means moving into employment, undertaking an apprenticeship or progressing to further study.
