Stamford College Welcomes Leading Universities to Inspire Students and Explore Higher Education Pathways
Stamford College recently hosted visits from several leading higher-education providers, giving students a unique opportunity to explore their future pathways.
The visitors included University Centre Peterborough, University of Lincoln, and Anglia Ruskin University. These visits formed part of the College’s ongoing effort to support learners in understanding the UCAS process, Further Education, and university life.
During the visits, representatives from each institution delivered insightful presentations, answered questions, and engaged directly with students. University Centre Peterborough highlighted the benefits of local degree-level study and also spoke about degree apprenticeships, offering an alternative route into higher education while gaining valuable workplace experience.
The University of Lincoln and Anglia Ruskin University provided guidance on crafting strong personal statements, choosing the right course, and standing out in a competitive application process. These sessions enabled students to gain a clearer picture of the steps they need to take to progress into higher education.
The events proved highly beneficial for students at all stages of their journey. By hearing firsthand from admissions and recruitment teams, learners were able to demystify the UCAS timeline, understand key dates and expectations, and recognise how to align their current college work with their future ambitions.
Thank you to University Centre Peterborough, University of Lincoln and Anglia Ruskin University for supporting our students in the next step of further education.
