Supported Interns Explore Hospitality Careers with Behind-the-Scenes Visit to The George Hotel
This week, learners visited the prestigious George Hotel of Stamford to gain first-hand insight into roles across catering, hospitality, and housekeeping.
During the visit, students were taken on an immersive tour of the historic hotel, exploring the guest rooms, restaurant areas, and behind-the-scenes operations in the busy kitchens. The hands-on experience gave learners a realistic view of daily life in the hospitality industry and highlighted the diverse employment opportunities available within their local community.
The interactive session ended on a fun and memorable note as students even had the chance to learn how to craft their very own mocktails. Experiences like this continue to help our Supported Interns build confidence and prepare for future success in the workplace.
