Supported Interns Gain Career Insight Into Magazine Production At Warners Midlands PLC

Our Supported Internship students have taken another exciting step toward exploring future career pathways through a hands-on visit to local printing company Warners Midlands PLC.

As part of their current term curriculum, students are exploring diverse job roles by visiting local employers and engaging with industry guest speakers. During their visit to Warners in Bourne, the interns were given a guided tour of the factory floor, gaining a behind-the-scenes look at the complete magazine production process, from initial design and prepress to printing, binding, and distribution.

These industry visits are designed to bridge the gap between education and employment, giving young adults valuable workplace insights, boosting confidence, and helping them identify career opportunities within the community.

The Supported Internship program continues to seek partnerships with businesses across the region to offer site visits, guest talks, and work placement opportunities for its ambitious cohort.
