BGB Innovation Inspires Stamford College Construction Student Progression
We welcomed BGB Innovation, the Grantham-based engineering and construction company, to campus for an inspiring session with our Construction students.
Representatives from the company shared invaluable advice about career pathways and apprenticeships, giving students clear guidance on how to take the next steps in their chosen fields.
During the session, the BGB team highlighted the diverse opportunities available in engineering and construction, including roles at their factory and across the wider industry. Students gained a practical understanding of how the skills they are developing at Stamford College can be applied in real-world settings, helping them to envision future career possibilities.
The session proved to be an eye-opening experience, offering students insights into professional expectations, industry standards, and the range of opportunities available to them after completing their studies. It provided an excellent opportunity to inspire ambition and inform career planning for our future construction professionals.
Students will soon be visiting the BGB Innovation Factory for an exclusive tour of their impressive facilities, providing a first-hand look at operations in action and an opportunity to see modern construction and engineering at work. Stamford College is grateful to BGB Innovation for supporting our students and helping them connect classroom learning to industry practice.
